Surfer enables users to model data sets, apply a series of advanced analysis tools, and communicate the results graphically. Scientific modeling packages are used for oil and gas exploration, environmental consulting, mining, engineering, and geospatial projects. Enhanced 3D basemaps, contour volume/area calculations, 3D PDF export options, and automated functions for creating scripts and workflows.
Catalyst-AWS cooperation provides users with actionable earth science analysis and satellite-based earth observation intelligence. Data and analysis are provided through the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud. Catalyst is a brand of PCI Geomatics. The initial solution provided through AWS Data Exchange is an infrastructure risk assessment service that uses satellite data to continuously monitor the millimeter-level ground displacement of any user’s area of ??interest on the planet. Catalyst is exploring other risk mitigation solutions and monitoring services using AWS. Having image processing science and images on the cloud can reduce delays and costly data transfers.
GPS-assisted INS-U is a fully integrated attitude and heading reference system (AHRS), IMU and air data computer high-performance strapdown system that can determine the location, navigation and timing information of any equipment on which it is installed. INS-U uses a single antenna, multi-constellation u-blox GNSS receiver. By accessing GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and Beidou, INS-U can be used in various GPS-enabled environments and prevent deception and interference. INS-U has two barometers, a miniature gyro-compensated fluxgate compass, and three-axis temperature-calibrated advanced MEMS accelerometer and gyroscope. Together with Inertial Labs’ new on-board sensor fusion filter and state-of-the-art guidance and navigation algorithms, these high-performance sensors provide the accurate position, speed and direction of the device under test.
The Reach M+ and Reach M2 positioning modules for drone surveying and mapping provide centimeter-level accuracy in real-time kinematics (RTK) and post-processing kinematics (PPK) modes, enabling accurate drone surveying and mapping with fewer ground control points . The PPK baseline of the Reach M+ single-band receiver can reach 20 kilometers. Reach M2 is a multi-band receiver with a baseline of up to 100 kilometers in PPK. Reach is directly connected to the hot shoe port of the camera and synchronized with the shutter. The time and coordinates of each photo are recorded with a resolution of less than one microsecond. Reach captures the flash sync pulses with sub-microsecond resolution and stores them in the raw data RINEX log in the internal memory. This method only allows the use of ground control points to check accuracy.
Dronehub is an automated solution that can provide 24/7 uninterrupted drone services in almost any weather conditions. By integrating IBM artificial intelligence technology, the Dronehub solution can operate and automatically provide information with little human interaction. It can carry a payload of up to 5 kilograms and a maximum distance of 15 kilometers. Can be used for monitoring, inspection and measurement; cargo transportation and package delivery; and mobile ground infrastructure; and security.
The Propeller Platform and WingtraOne drone kits enable construction professionals to consistently and accurately collect survey-level data across the entire construction site. For operation, surveyors place Propeller AeroPoints (intelligent ground control points) on their construction sites, and then fly WingtraOne drones to collect site survey data. The survey images are uploaded to Propeller’s cloud-based platform, and fully automated geotagging and photogrammetric processing are completed within 24 hours of submission on the platform. Uses include mines, road and railway projects, highways and industrial parks. Using AeroPoints and Propeller PPK to collect data can be used as a reliable, single source of survey data and progress. Teams across the construction site can view geographically accurate and realistic 3D construction site models, and safely and accurately track, check and report on work progress and productivity.
